Open Table is also great for browsing menus. Dress code is fairly lax in Telluride. Any restaurant considered fine dining does not require you to dress up. A nice pair of jeans and shirt will do.

Mountain Village Dining

The View: Located on-property at Mountain Lodge serving up mouth watering cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Allreds: Located at the tip of the peak dining at nearly 11,000 feet elevation this restaurant offers amazing views of Ajax mountain and the Telluride box canyon through floor to ceiling bay windows. A romantic setting in a craftsman style dining room, sometimes they have live piano music, the menu offers an excellent selection of wine and excellent food. Reservations HIGHLY recommended.

Tomboy Tavern: An excellent little burger joint with an old mining town theme and historic Telluride photos. Indoor and outdoor dining available with views of the green ski run.

Siam Talay: Thai food but in the tapas style with a beautiful view of sunset from the deck. Small portions. Good for cocktails and appetizers.

Starbucks: Typical coffee and pastries with seasonal drink selections.

Telluride Coffee Co.: Locally owned they serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic coffee selections along with a full diner-style breakfast menu.

Telluride Dining

Brown Dog: Casual pizza spot with a sports bar atmosphere. They serve local beers and cocktails. This will probably be our Thursday night spot for anyone that is in town and wants to join! They do not take reservations but text Allison/Taylor if you'd like to join so they can get a count.

The New Sheridan: Tellurides very own historic hotel and bar, as well as our only steakhouse, this restaurant offers breakfast and dinner service. Dinner is served by romantic candle light and they have a excellent selection of wines, local beers and cocktails. The Flatliner Martini is my favorite and I highly recommend it! Reservations HIGHLY recommended.

The Cosmopolitan: Located at the base of the gondola in Telluride this is a cozy little spot, candle lit and romantic, offering a happy hour with half-price sushi, and avocado rolls, as well as cocktails. They do serve fresh bread made in-house and have an excellent filet mignon. Reservations HIGHLY recommended.

La Cocina de Luz: AMAZING organic Mexican fare with the traditional favorites and some new twists.

The Oak at Alley: Casual dining. Traditional Louisiana BBQ with fried chicken, ribs, sweet potato fries and excellent drinks.

Baked in Telluride: Excellent location for pastries.

High Alpine Coffee: Located in the back of ‘Between the Covers’ bookstore they offer organic, fresh made breakfast burritos, pastries’ and amazing coffee.

Coffee Cowboy: A local hot spot for coffee and pastries. The coffee here does tend to be on the sweet side so ordering almond or coconut milk cuts down on that.

Butcher & The Baker: Amazing little deli serving breakfast and lunch. Fresh homemade food and drink service. Their pastries are amazingly yummy and ginormous! Try their chocolate chip cookies!
